Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on different types of floors. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide margin around obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to be able to reach every particle of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. robot vacuum cleaner cheap 's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
